This workshop is designed to help you understand the regulations that govern community housing across Australia, including the National Regulatory System for Community Housing (NRSCH), which applies in most states and territories, as well as the separate state-based systems in Victoria and Western Australia.
In this 3 hour session, participants will gain a deeper understanding of the purpose and function of these regulatory systems, how they ensure the viability and accountability of community housing providers, and what this means for individuals working in the sector.
The course will also explore the key performance standards and measures that guide the operations of community housing organisations, with an emphasis on practical implications for everyday work in the industry.
Whether you work in customer service, admin, tenancy management, or maintenance, every worker has a responsibility to uphold these regulations in their daily tasks. While it might not always be obvious how the regulations affect your specific role, they are part of the foundation of how your organisation is run.
