This article explores the differences and benefits of the different types of training we offer to help you choose the best learning option.

What is Online Learning

Online learning, also known as virtual learning, are our live instructor led workshops and training delivered to learners over the computer. Learners join the workshop virtually over online meeting platforms like Zoom or Teams. Made easy and interactive with technology (cameras and microphones) online learning has never been easier!

Benefits

  • Engage with other learners
  • Live interaction with the trainer
  • Easy to access – join from any mobile device
  • No travel required

What is Face to Face Learning

Face to Face learning is delivered by trainers in person to a number of learners in the same room. This traditional classroom type learning require all learners to attend in person which allows for greater social and networking opportunities.

Benefits

  • Learn with your peers in the same room
  • Live interaction with the trainer

What is E-Learning

E-learning is self-paced learning completed by learners online and individually at their own pace. Learners can start, pause and return to e-learning at their own pace. Whilst it’s not as interactive as some of the other learning methods, it’s extremely flexible for learners.

Benefits

  • Complete at your own pace, in your own environment
  • Practical for learners who can’t attend live online or in-person training workshops

What is In-House Learning

In-house learning is not delivered in your lounge room…we wish, that would be nice and comfy! In-house training or workshops are delivered specifically to learners in one business or organisation. They can be delivered online or face to face.

Benefits

  • All of your employees or colleagues attend the same training
  • In-house learning can be customised and tailored to meet your organisations training needs
  • Cost effective if enrolling more than a few delegates

What is Public Learning

Public learning is open to anyone to attend. Often delivered online, our public workshops can be attended by anyone who registers, you do not need to work for a specific organisation or be in a set location to attend. Learners on our public workshops come from all over the social housing sector and even different time zones.

Benefits

  • Engage and learn from delegates attending from other locations or organisations
  • Regularly run sessions available open to anyone

What is Blended Learning

Blended or hybrid learning is a combination of learning methods. We know people have different styles of learning so all of our workshops take a blended approach by integrating technology and digital media with our workshops.

Benefits

  • Lively and interactive – we know people are more likely to remember things when they have fun!

So…lot’s of different approaches to training. Which one is best?

All learning methods are highly effective in their own ways. Regardless of the delivery method or style you choose, we ensure that the content is consistent and engaging with interactive material, knowledge checks and above all, a focus on customer service.

Depending on your individual learning style and needs, one type of learning might be more suited. If you’re still not sure which one is right for you, send us a message.
