The Elevate Leadership Development Programme is CPD accredited and designed to help emerging and aspiring leaders in the social housing sector develop the confidence, capability and practical leadership skills needed to thrive in today’s complex workplace.
Recent programme evaluation demonstrated significant growth in leadership confidence, self-awareness, communication, delegation and professional judgement. Participants reported increased self-trust, stronger leadership identity and a greater willingness to step forward, influence others and take ownership of leadership opportunities.
A key outcome of the programme was the shift from “doing and fixing” to leading and developing others. Participants became more confident in setting boundaries, delegating effectively, providing feedback, leading conversations and creating accountability within their teams. The strongest improvements were seen where participants applied their learning to real workplace situations and reinforced this through individual coaching.
The programme’s blended approach, combining a DiSC Work of Leaders profiling, workshops, coaching, masterclasses, practical tools and peer learning, proved particularly effective. Participants valued the opportunity to connect with peers, reflect on their leadership style and immediately apply practical frameworks such as GROW and SMART goal-setting in their day-to-day roles.
